The Constitution for the Gauteng Institute for Architecture attempts to harness the interest and energy not only of the architectural profession but also of that sector of the public which recognises the cultural value of architecture; is concerned that what is best in the built environment is conserved; and aspires to better architecture and a socially significant and sustainable built environment.
